Urban planning competition for the designing of a macro residential complex in Cairo, Egypt. The proposal is based on designing a network of linear blocks grouped both horizontally and vertically from which generates a continuous growth based on a modular system that is able to create interstitial spaces with their own microclimates allowing the location of facilities and green areas well-climate. Regarding to materials, the façade system is proposed from energy efficiency and adaptability to its environment with a solution of double skin with solar exterior protection.
